Diese setzt die Bauart, die \u00fcber Jahrhunderte gewachsene Gommer Holzbaukultur, fort.<\/p>\n<p>Die eingesetzten, einheimischen H\u00f6lzer L\u00e4rche und Fichte sind Gew\u00e4hr daf\u00fcr, dass das im alpinen Hochgebirge gewachsene Holz f\u00fcr das vorherrschende Witterungsklima hervorragend geeignet ist und somit eine lange Lebensdauer gew\u00e4hrleistet.<\/p>\n<p>Da das Holz aus der n\u00e4heren Region stammt und alle Verarbeitungsstufen (Forst, S\u00e4gerei, Holzbau) im Oberwallis erfolgen, k\u00f6nnen die Transportwege gering gehalten werden, somit ist der Holzbau klimaneutral. Ausserdem bleibt die Wertsch\u00f6pfung zu 100% in der Region, dies tr\u00e4gt dazu bei, in einer Randregion Arbeitspl\u00e4tze zu erhalten, ja sogar zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p>Damit der Holzbau vor aufsteigender Feuchtigkeit gesch\u00fctzt wird, ist die Holzkonstruktion auf einem massiven Betonsockel aufgebaut. Zugleich sch\u00fctzt das Satteldach mit dem grossen Vordach den Holzbau vor den Witterungseinfl\u00fcssen. Somit sind diese konstruktiven Holzschutz-Massnahmen mit entscheidend, dass das Holzgeb\u00e4ude f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten Jahrzehnte, sogar Jahrhunderte Bestand hat.<\/p>\n<p>Die Blockw\u00e4nde sind in Fichte, die den Witterungseinfl\u00fcssen ausgesetzten Bauteile in L\u00e4rche ausgef\u00fchrt. Somit k\u00f6nnen die Materialkosten optimiert und die stark unter Druck stehenden L\u00e4rchen-Waldbest\u00e4nde geschont werden.<\/p>\n<p>Im Innern wird die Holzblockbauweise durch das ganze Geb\u00e4ude sicht- und erlebbar und sorgt schon beim Betreten des Hauses f\u00fcr eine charakteristische W\u00e4rme und Atmosph\u00e4re. Die Innenw\u00e4nde mit den Fichtenbalken sorgen f\u00fcr ein angenehmes Raumgef\u00fchl und ausgeglichenes Raumklima, da das Holz ein sehr guter Feuchteregulator ist.<\/p>\n<p>Die eingesetzte Blockbauweise passt somit hervorragend zum Konzept der Berglodge Goms, die ebenfalls bewusst auf regionale T\u00e4tigkeiten und einen \u00f6kologischen Betrieb setzt.
